BENCHMARKING

• Analyzing the dimensions and other properties of competitor’s final product in the market to study and obtain better results is called benchmarking.
• It is the process of implementing new feature and idea or to improve the existing features by better design and build quality.

VEHICLE COMPARISON

According to the case study problem including the driver there are five in total. The diesel vehicle will be the best option for daily usage and for the long distance travel because the diesel price is lower than petrol and diesel emmits low carbon monoxide. since the budget range of Mr. Pughazhendhi is 8 to 10 lakhs the diesel cars won't fit into the budget and hence the petrol car is the only option. so for the comparison lets take Hyndai Venue E 1.2 Petrol, Tata Nexon XE, skoda rapid TSI rider and Maruti Breeza LXi.

The Benchmarking is determined by Body surface area of metal, Metal weight, Number of stamping parts, overall parts surface area. In simple words of explanation, the weight of the vehicle and the surface area of the vehicle matters for benchmarking. Since we don't have individual parts specific data let us use the above table and study the comparison.

PERFORMANCE

• All the varients consists of steering type - power assisted (electric).
• Compared to others Maruti Breeza has better mileage and performance in all types of drive.
• Skoda rapid TSI and Tata Nexon XE has better Max Power and Torque when compared.

INTERIOR

• Integrated Music System,Aux Compability, USB Compatibility available in Breeza and rapid, also the dash board is semi digital.
• The interior look is best in Tata, all though they lag in features the deisgn and installments are quit impressive.
• interior door handles are made in sliver in venue.
• The steering adjustment, AC, Heater, Anti glare rear view mirror, boot acess from last row seat etc are present in every variants.

EXTERIOR

• Round Mounted Antenna is present in venue and breeza.
• Each variants has its own body colours to represent.
• Nexon and Breeza has halogen projector and tail lights are LEDs.
• Wheels are steel rims execpt skoda.

• Brake Assist in emergency, electronic stability program makes Tata cars safe to travel.
• Better traction control in breeza and nexon.

CONCLUSION

The comparison of differents cars were studied and the suggestion will Maruti Breeza because it has quite decent Mileage and boot space which will be comfortable for five people and easy to drive in regular traffic.
