Benchmarking is the process of comparing products which similar set of products in the market inorder to choose the better. we compare several factors during a product level benchmarking and select the one which is really apt for the need with in the budget .

This is used to measure the performance of a company and compare it to others over time. This will often include looking at the practice behind these metrics as well.
