Week 8 - Challenge 6 - Core & Cavity Design

REPORT

We need to find core and cavity side initially, then observed where should be the parting line lies. core should has a projection and cavity has depression.

for creating core initially extrapolated class A,B,C. then trimmed class A with class C then trimmed with class B

this is the parting surface , then created an extension to the top side from this parting surface in the direction of tooling axis which is the core. also provided an extension to the bottom side which is the cavity. closed these surface using fill then changed into a closed body.

created an intersection from the Y view to analyse more.

then translated core block and cavity block to know how it works.
