Assignment 6-Frontal Crash Simulation Challenge

Objective:

• Run the Frontal Crash simulation for 80ms with the initial velocity of 35Mph.
• Check the Sectional forces at Rails, Shotgun, and A-pillar regions.
• Intrusion on the Dash wall
• Acceleration Curve received on the base of B- pillar.

Model Setup: Model has set with below requisites

• Unit system -Kg mm ms
• No penetrations and intersection
• Rigid wall with friction 0.1.
• Added the mass to reach 700kg and arranged the CG to the required range.
• Initial velocity 35 mph(15.6m/s)
• Model ran for 80ms
