BRACKET II

Introduction:

It is all about learning the new methods for sheet metal. As we all know keep practicing is very important. That,s why these challanges are important.

Design Methodology:

• First of all we need to sketch on given requirement.
• After sketching apply Contour Flange and get the base of the sheet.
• After getting base for normal cutout we need to draw sketch.
• Then after getting that base we need to break the corners.
• Now we have to apply unbend feature to do normal cutout.
• Then rebend the given sheet for it's regular shape.
• After rebend we have to draw some circles as per data to make holes on the sheet.
• Then doing advanced flange to the bigger hole.
• After advanced flange we have to do gusset for stiffening.
• There are 4 gussets on to the bend side.
• After doing all processes Flat pattern has been created.
• For drafting we have to draw all over drawing has been made.

Description:

First of all, we have to draw a given sketch on the sketch plane. After we need to do a contour flange for this sketch

Then for getting the required sketch we have to Normal Cutout for this. For getting holes we have to make circles on the tab.

For getting Fillet we have to do the break corners command. After the Advanced flange, we have to do Gusset on the bend side.

After getting overall sheet we have to make flat pattern and 2 D sheet for this Bracket.
