DESIGNING OF METAL BRACKET USING NX

Objective:

To obtain the metal bracket from the input drawing using different types of tools in NX.

Below tools has been used for obtaining the result:

1. Normal cut-out
2. Bend and unbend
3. Contour Flange
4. Breaking corners
5. Beads
6. Hole
7. Gusset
8. Advanced flange

Description:

1. Initially a contour is drawn as per the drawing and converted it into flange by using the contour flange option
2. Cut-out has been created on the flange using normal cut-out option for obtaining the required shape
3. Edges has been made round by using the bend corner tool.
4. Unbending the flange for providing holes and flanges as per the given drawing
5. Creating holes at the required dimension as per the drawing using the hole tool
6. Creating required bends at the position determined by using the advanced flange
7. Adding the gussets at the end for completion of the metal bracket as per the drawing.

Hence converting the given drawing into final object has been done by using the different tools in NX
