NX ODD ENCLOSURE

OBJECTIVE:- To make enclosure by the help of solid part or extrude

INTRODUCTION:- The enclosure is made by the help of wrap sheet metal to the extrude metal as shown following steps.

DESIGN METHODOLOGY:-

1. Make a sketch on a plane as shown below.

2. extrude _ Extrude it by setting a distance to 200 mm as shown below

3. sheet metal from solid- Now select the web faces and select edge for edge blend as shown below

4.sheet metal will look like

5.Unbend it - By selecting the edges the sheet metal unbend to a flat sheet as shown

6.Make a sketch for dimple as shown below

7. Dimple command _ Now to make a dimple we first to unbend and then sketch and choosing curve and depth 10 mm as shown

8. Flange- select edge and length to 20mm as shown

9. Jog-now make a sketch and select the sketch to make a jog of height 20 mm

10.Unbend it

11. Normal cut out

12. Flat pattern
