Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_5_Odd Shaped Enclosure
Odd-Shaped Enclosure:-
OBJECTIVE:-
To design an odd-shaped Enclosure in NX cad as per the given dimensions.
Introduction:-
ENCLOSURE is a panel used to cover the body parts of a machine.
Design approach:-

Description:-

Sketch: Representing the geometry in two-dimensional (Wireframe).

Extrude: Added solid body to required length with the sketch as a base.

Sheet metal from solid: All faces are selected to convert as sheet metal except the bottom face.

Flange: A flange is a feature consisting of a face with a bend that connects to an existing face.
Jog: The Jog tool adds material to a sheet metal part by creating two bends from a sketched line.

Unbend: Unfolding the bends.

Bead: An impression created to add strength.
Normal Cutout: With Sketch as base material is removed.

Rebend: Folding back the bends as before unbend feature.

Flat Pattern: This feature is added to add a view in dwg.
