Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_5_Odd Shaped Enclosure
ENCLOSURE
Objective: To Create the basic model of sheet-metal with the basic knowledge of software.
Introduction: NX-CAD is a PLM tool in Design, where we have n number of option to tweek the software to get optimal solution. It is highly used in complex models and its developement.

Description:
Sheetmetal from body: it is used when a solid body is converted into sheet metal giving some bending edges and relief , thickness etc to form a sheet meatal similar to body.
Extrude: It is used in Extruding closed sketch to Form a 3D.
Tab -It is used in closed sketch to form sheet metal or base flange.
Flange- this is used in side cut or Flanges to base metal.
mirror: it is used to mirror with respect sketch
dimple: it is used to up raise the metal surface with respect the sketch
unite: it is used when two bodys are merged to form single body (combine)
datum plane: it is used to create secondary plane wrt to main coordinate XYZ plane.
CONCLUSION
till now i have used most of the command and feature in sheet metal, i have understood procedure from sketching tab to final model into 2D drawing.
and i have tried various diy in holes on bending segment for better understanding even tried reverse of bead on the sheetmetal giving sharp radious and also understood the bending of sheet metal.
