Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_5_Odd Shaped Enclosure

Title : To create enclosures with all shapes for angles using NX Cad.

Objective :

• To create a flat pattern of the body for drafting and further manufacturing.

Procedure :

• Create a solid body that encompasses the interior volume of the final enclosure shape using tools in the modelling application.
• Wrap the solid body with sheet metal using the sheet metal from solid command.
• Add features to it such as flanges, Jobs or bends to further define the basic shape of the formed sheet metal part.
• Unbend to add more features and place holes, cutouts, beads and dimples on the part.
• Rebend the unbend areas.
• Create a flat pattern for drafting and later manufacturing.
