Topic NX-CASING

Objective: Design the casing model as per the given details using the NX.

Introduction

Metal sheet used in many area such as automotive, aerospace, medical etc. The metal sheet can be obtained using the different method i.e. rolling, forging etc. The thickness can be maximum 6 mm for the sheet metal. After that ( i.e. more than 6mm) thickness, it will be considered as plate. Many operations/methods are used to manufacture the parts or components using the sheet metal such as bending, edge blend, flange, bead etc.

Conclusion: As per the given details, the casing was designed. For the casing design different operation were used such as bend, flange, bead, break corner etc.
