3D Creation of Celing, Roof, Architectural plan, Structural plan, Sectional view, Elevation view and Camera specific view for a house plan using REVIT
1)AIM:-To model a ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level.
INTRODUCTION:-
The creation of ceiling within Revit is a very similar process to that of floors & roofs-ie you can enter 'SKETCH mode' & literally sketch out the boundary of the ceiling yourself. The main thing is to remember to be in the correct ceiling plan view before you start. Revit 'WILL' let you place the ceiling in floor plan views.but I would not advise this as you cannot readily see what you have created.
PROCEDURE:-
Step1:-
.First, we open the Revit software & select the ceiling option from the Architecture toolbar.

Step2:-
.After selecting the ceiling option, then select each room one by one.
.Then the ceiling will be created, as shown in the below figure.

Step3:-
Here we can the ceiling in the three-dimensional view as shown in the below figure.

RESULT:-
The ceiling has been modelled successfully from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level.

2)AIM:-To model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprint of the ceilings.
INTRODUCTION:-
.Roof covering of the top of a building serves to protect against rain, snow, sunlight, wind, extreme temperature. Roofs have been constructed in a wide verity of forms flat, pitched, vaulted, domed or in combination as dictated by technical, economic, or aesthetic considerations the earliest roofs constructed by man were probably thatched roofs that were made of straw, leaves, branches or reeds they were usually set at a slope or pitch, so that rainfall could drain off them. Conical thatched roofs are a good example of this type & are still widely used in the rural area of Africa & elsewhere. Thicker branches & timbers eventually come to be used to span a roof, with clay or some other relatively impermeable substance pressed into the interstices between them.Gabled & flat roofs were possible with these materials with the invention of brick & cut stone for building the basic forms of the dome & vault appeared.
PROCEDURE:-
Step1:-Open the architecture toolbar & select the roof by footprints option as shown in the below figure.

Step2:-Next we select the roof to 10 degrees by selecting it, as shown in the figure.

Step3:-The roof has been created as shown below.
RESULT:-
The roof has been created successfully to the model in the Revit in detailed manner.

3)AIM:-To create plan views for ground floor level & first & first-floor level including all the walls floors,& components.& to separate them into architecture & structural plans.
INTRODUCTION:-
.The structural plan view is the default view when you start a new project using a structural template. Most projects include at least one structural plan New structural plan views are created automatically as you add new levels to youR project you can create multiple structural plan view types. The floor view is the default view in a new architectural project Most projects include at least one-floor plan. Floor plan views are created automatically as you add new levels to your project.
Procedure-
step1:-
.First, we draw the architectural plans of the first floor & second-floor plan as shown below.

Step2:-
.Next, we draw the structural plans of the first floor & second floor as shown below.

RESULT:-
.Created plan views for the ground floor level & first-floor level including all the walls, floors, & components.

4)AIM:-To add dimensions to all the walls & floors with reference to the longitudinal & traverse grids created in the project line.
INTRODUCTION:-
.The structural plan view is the default view when you start a new project using a structural template. Most projects include at least one structural plan. New structural plan views are created automatically as you add new levels to your project. You can create multiple structural plan view types. The floor plan view is the default view in a new architectural project. Most projects include at least one-floor plan. Floor plan views are created automatically as you add new levels to your project.
Procedure-
step1:-.Here we drawn the longitudinal & traverse grids to the architecture floor plans as shown below.
.And add the dimensions to the dimensions to the architecture plans as shown below.

Step2:-Next we draw the longitudinal & traverse grids to the structural floor plans as shown below.

RESULT:-
.The dimensions are added to the structural floor plans & the architectural floor plans.& the longitudinal & traverse grids are also created in the project file.

5)AIM:-To create a sheet template from the view tab & adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views.
INTRODUCTION:-
.Create views on a project template before you start building the model to streamline the project documentation process. When creating a project template, you can include sheets in the template. Start with a blank project file,& create the standard views & levels that each project should include. Leave the views empty, but assign standard names to them To create a standard set of construction documents, create sheets using the desired blocks. Add views to the sheets, using the desired viewport template & view the types. They save the empty project as a project template. When you create a project using this project template all of the views & sheets are already created & listed in the project browser. As you start to draw the building model in the project views, the views on the sheets update automatically. This technique streamlines the project documentation process & maintains organizational standards.
Procedure:-
step1:-First we click on the sheet option from the view toolbar as shown below. After clicking the sheet the new tab will be visible on the screen. In that new tab, we select the A1 metric, then the sheet template will be displayed.

step2:-In the sheet template we insert the first-floor plan & second-floor plan separately as shown below. Next, edit the project name & the sheet number as shown in the below figures.

RESULT:-
Created a sheet template from the view tab & adjust the parameter on the sheet for adding appropriate views.

6)AIM:-To create the elevation views, look at your building from east, north, south,& west using the elevation tab.
INTRODUCTION:-
.An elevation is a view of a building seen from one side, a flat representation of one view. This is the most common view used to describe the external appearance of a building. Each elevation is labelled in relation to the compass direction it faces,e.g. looking toward the north you would be seeing the southern elevation of the building.
Procedure:-
step1:-First we click on the elevation option from the view toolbar as shown below.

Step2:-Next the elevation from the east will be visible,as shown below.

Step3:-Next the elevation from the south will be visible on the screen, as shown below.

Step4:-Next the elevation from the north will be visible on the screen, as shown below.

Step 5:-Next the elevation from the west will be visible on the screen, as shown below.

7)AIM:-To produce a section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a traverse direction.
INTRODUCTION:-
.Sectional views reveal hidden details in a mechanical drawing. These views assume that a cutting plane has removed portions of the object representation of the object represented by the drawing, displaying the appropriate section of the interior.Sectional views are used in engineering architects &airplane designer communicate their ideas to their peers.
Procedure:-
step1:-First we click on the section from the view toolbar,as shown below.Next we procedure the section view of the bed room as shown in the below figure.

step2:-
Next we produce the section view of the toilet room as shown in the below figure.

Step3:-Next we produce the section view of the kitchen room as shown in the below figure.

Step4:-Next we produce the section view of the living room as shown in the below.

RESULT:-
Created the section views of a model in the revit in detailed manner.

8)AIM:-To classify the views plan views section views & elevation views to either design or documentation category using properties browser.
INTRODUCTION:-
The structural plan view is the default view when you start a new project using a structural template. Most projects include at least one structural plan.New structural plan views are created automatically as you add new levels to your project. You can create multiple structural plan view types. The floor plan view is the default in a new architectural project. Most projects include at least one floor plan.Floor plan views are created automatically as you add new levels to your project.Sectional views reveal hidden details in a mechanical drawing. These views assume that a cutting plane has removed portions of the object represented by the drawing, displaying the appropriate section of the interior.Sectional views are used in engineering & architectural drawings. They help in civil engineers, architects & airplane designs communicate their ideas to their peers. An elevation is a of a building seen from one side a flat representation of one view. This is the most common view used to describe the external appearance of a building. Each elevation is lebbled in relation to the compass direction it faces,eg.looking toward the north you would be seeing the southern elevation of the building.
