3D Creation of Celing, Roof, Architectural plan, Structural plan, Sectional view, Elevation view and Camera specific view for a house plan using REVIT
Aim:
To model a ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level.
Procedure:
- Open the revit software and select the ceiling options from the architecture.
- After selecting the ceiling options then select the each room one by one. THe ceiling will be created as shown.

Aim:
To model a roof above the ceiling ny selecting the footprints of the ceiling.
Procedure:
- Open the architecture toolbar and select the Roof by footprint option.
- Next we select the roof and adjsut the roof to 10 degrees by selecting.

Aim:
To create a plan views for the groundfloor level and the first floor level including all the walls, floors and components and to seperate them to architecture and structural plans.
Procedure:
- Draw the architectural plans for the first and second floor as shown.
- Next we draw the structural plans of the first floor and second as shown below.

Aim:
To add dimensions to all walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project files.
Procedure:
- Draw the longitudinal and tranverse grids to the architectural plan and add the dimensions to the architectural plans.
- Next we draw the longitudinal and tranvserse grids to the structural floor plans and add the dimensions.

5.
Aim:
To create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views.
Procedure:
- Click on the sheet options from the view toolbar nnad the new tab will be visible on the screen.
- Select A1 metric from the new tab.
- Insert the first floor and second floor plan seperately.
- Edit the project name and sheet number.

6.
Aim:
To create the elevation views, looking at your building from NORTH, EAST, WEST AND SOUTH using elevation tab.
Procedure:
- Click on the elevation options from the view toolbar.
- Next the elevation from the east, south, north and west will be visible as follow:

Aim:
To produce section cut through each room either cutting accross longitudinally o rin transverse direction.
Procedure:
- Click on the screen option from the view toolbar.
- Produce thhe section view of the bedroom.
- Produce the sectio view of the toilet room
- Prodce the sectio view of the kitchen room.
- Produce the section view of the living room

9.
Aim:
To classify the views, plan views, section views and elevation views to either design or documentation category using property browser.
Procedure:
- Open the project brower, the views, the plan views, section views and elevation views are visible.
- Insert these plans one by one in the sheets seperatley.
- Insert the front elevation in the sheet template
- Insert the left side elevation in the sheet template
- Insert the righ tside elevation in the sheet template
- Insert the back side elevation in the sheet template
- Insert the ground floor plan in the sheet template
- Insert the first floor pan in the sheet template
- Insert the section 1 , section 2 in the sepearte sheets.

9.
Aim:
To create the multiple sheets and produce the drawings in the sheets from the given diagram list.
Procedure:
- First we produce the ground floor architectural plan in the sheet templates A-101
- Produce the first floor architectural plan in sheet A-102
- Produce the Roof plan in the sheet template A-103
- Produce the ground floor plan in the sheet S-101,First floor plan in sheet S-102, roof foaming in S-103
- Produce the north and south elevation views in A-201 annd east and west elevation in A-202.

10.
Aim:
To create camera specific view or 3D views.
Procedure:
- Create a sheet named A-501
- Go to the first floor plan and place the camera in the bee room as shown
- Create a sheet named A-502
- Go to the floor plan and place the camera as shoen
- Similarly do that for the living room in a seperate sheer named A-503
