Backshell are plastic molded parts used at wire entry side of connectors either for protection or to improve aesthetics appearance of harness.

Get the backshell 3d part.

Define the Geometry parameter

There is creating points & axis.

Define the axis system.

Define part as Backshell.

Define Backshell connection point.

The methodology and logic to define the point & axis system are the same as the connector connection system.

Ensure that the define axis & orientation should be identical to the mating part.

And define the Bundle connection point.

Protective Covering

Corrugated tubes, convolutes, sleeves and many other types of coverings are used to protect the wiring harness.

Graphical representation of coverings are applied on Bundles.
