Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 2 Challlenge

Q1. Download following connectors & Connector clip cad data from given link & define it as Electrical Connector using Electrical Part design Workbench. Define all the necessary properties to Connectors & Clip.

Procedure:

• Create required geometrical parameters
• define the bundle entry point
• define part as connector
• define bundle connection point
• define connector connection points
• define cavity connection point

2. Repeating the same produce of define the bundling connection point and connector connection point,a cavity point is defined.

The connector clip porperties are defined by defining the clip as mounting equipment and by defining cavity as shown.

Both the clip and connector were imported as new product using electrical assembly design work bench. And the constrains are created between the mounting cavity and the connector.
