Week 9 - Project - Master Section Development

REPORT

ABSTRACT: In this design I used and take reference of multiple master sections. I used master section to design B side features and take the feature and take the measures of extra features in A and B surfaces. I used simple procedure of creating the solid body form the A surface. I use dto create other solid surfaces like B and C surface. At last I finished the design with the help of drafting analysis.

INTRODUCTION: In this design I used master sections to create the main tooling axis. After that with the help of main tooling axis I created one more tooling axis for the side core design and development. I used A surface to create B surface and after that I created the connected C surface at an angle of 3 degree outside. After that there are numerous of B side features on the main body and there extra features to get drafted easily.

METHODOLOGY: The designing started with B side features as the creation of B surface with help of offset of A.

After that Creation of C surface for the integration of A and B surface in the final body.

The final Integration all three bodies is as shown:

After creation of the major surface we need to create the other important B side features. In the B side features we also need to provide proper draft to get moulded and ejected properly. The final body after creation of B side features is as:

RESULTS: The representation of the every B side feature is looking as :

1. Dog House in integration with Screw Boss

2. Ribs for support
