Week 9-Creation of 1D Connectors Challenge

Objective: To mesh the geometry with given mesh quality criteria

Procedure Adopted:

Step 1: The geometry is first meshed using Automesh tool with given mesh criteria.

Step 2 : Next step of the challenge was to create proper connectors with respective elements mentioned in the challenge. For that purpose Spot weld, Hexa connectors, Bolt connectors, Spot weld with spring elements, Quad elements are used. In order to connect 3 components, i seperately connected first and second components and connected the third one with second one.

Step 3: For connecting remaining components, spot weld with 5 mm diameter is used.
