The flow chart for energy management system is shown below.

The energy management simulink block is shown below. The output going to optain is ultracapacitor power, fuel cell power and battery power. With the help of signal builder, the input is given.

The positive power subsystem is show below. The maximum and minimum value of power is given as between 23kW to 55kW. Based on each EMS the power demand varies.

The FC backup subsystem is shown below.

The battery backup subsystem is shown below.

The result is shown below.

Based on the value given, each EMS is behave accordingly. When fuel cell is off, the battery and ultracapacitor will be ON.
