Week 9 - Challenge 2 - Switch Bezel Design
SWITCH BEZEL DESIGN
SWITCH BEZEL
It is the part that contains switches and controls for various function with in tne car.

CLASS A SURFACE
It is the free form surface for high efficiency and quality ,mainly used for asthetical purpose which gives good apealing quality for an product

CLASS B SURFACE
it is an invisible surface for an product .b surface is formed from the class a surface . it provides structural support for an component. it is also refered as engineering surface for structural integrity.

CLASS C SURFACE
it is the surface which connects class A and class B . it does not need any cosmetic perfection for an component.

TOOLING DIRECTION
refers to the directrion which the mold pulls apart during the manufacturing process
molds typically build in two seperate piecescavity side and core side

A AND C SURFACE

DRAFT ANALYSIS
It is the technique used to analyze whether our part model created is manufacturable or not.
in this model draft angle for the part is 2.9degree . the nominal value of the draft angle is 3degree but the minimum value of the draft angle can be considerd as 0.5degree

to check whether my model is properly closed or not applying boundry command on the object will failing to creating the boundry

THICKNESS
the thickness of the component is 2.5mm for switch bezel and it is attained.thickness of the
componenet can be attained by offsetting the the b surface from the a surface for an required length
