Week 9 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design
BASE BRAKET
a. Tooling Direction-
The Tooling Direction is basically the direction that the mold pulls apart. The mold is built in two separate pieces, basically. You have a Cavity side and you have the Core side. The Core pulls apart from the Cavity and that's the Dyeline or the Tooling Direction.

b. Draft Analysis-
A draft analysis is used to see if the draft of a part is sufficient for the molding process and if the part will separate correctly from the mold. The draft refers to the angle between the face of a part and the direction of pull (refers to direction of the selected plane/face of a part) of each mold side.
Minimun Draft Angel for Plastic Component is 3 degree.
- A surface Draft Analysis

- Close surface Draft Analysis

c. Class A Surface
Class A surfaces are created on all visible exterior surfaces (ex; body panels, bumper, grill, lights etc.) and all visible surfaces of see-touch & feel parts in interior

d. B Surface
A surface means visible surface.it will give styler.B surface means thickness of a part it is not visible it is inside part.

c. Close Volume (Thicken Body)
