Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss) - Challenge 1
Objective:
The main objective of this challenge is to create the B-side features RIBs and Screw Bosses for a given door handle.
Overview:
Creating the class B and class C surfaces to the door handle, and creating the B side features (RIBs and Screw Bosses) by considering all the design parameters.

Create the Screw boss for the Drill Handle considering the design rules mentioned in the video.
General Guidelines for Bosses:
- Draft - 0.5 degrees on the walls of boss
- Thickness - Typically 40%* of the nominal wall at the base.
- Height to Diameter Ratio - 3:1
- Radii - 0.25mm maximum radii.

TOOLING DIRECTION:
To create the tooling axis, I extracted the surface of class A and untrim the surface, then I created the point at the centre of the untrim surface and created a line at that point in the Y direction. After creating the Tooling axis, I performed a draft analysis for class A to check the draft angle for it.

DRAFT ANALYSIS:
- First the class - A surface is checked before creating the class B&C surface and finally the solid body must be analysis. Both can be done by following procedures.
- By changing the view mode to custom view parameters - material mode then the feature draft analysis is enabled.
- Then the compass was activated and placed with the tooling axis by dragging the red pointer and then locked it.
- Then, by selecting the quick analysis mode, the nominal value will be 3 degree and checked for the component's draft angle.
- If I gave a 3deg draft angle some faces are not getting cleared, so I have gradually reduced the draft angle to up to every face gets cleared.
- So I gave the deg is 0.9 then the every faces are get cleared.
DRAFT ANALYSIS WITH RIBS AND SCREW BOSSES :
I Gave the 0.9deg but some solid body are show in red colour, so i change the 0.45deg to solid body are get cleared.
