Tooling axis

The tooling axis is the direction in which the core and cavity open if we are using the proper tooling axis we can avoid adding a side core thus the cost of manufacturing the component can be reduced.

It is defined as the direction in which the mold core and cavity open selection of the direction of the tooling axis depends on the eases at which components can be easily ejected.

Draft analysis-

Draft analysis in Catia ensures that the in manufacturing of the part opening and closure is well-maintained.

Ribs-

Ribs and thin wall-like stature that adds support and rigidity to injection molded part are thinner than primary walls and are used to support these walls as well as bosses by running perpendicular to the structure ribs are of one used to replace thick wall section to have avoided Sharing mark wraps and voids.

Screw booses-

Screw boss features are commonly found in injection molding design they are used to add to the assembly of molded parts by providing a channel for us through because of its function a boss must have significant strength to do its job this dictates a minimum size of the feature.
