DRAFT ANAYLSIS OF FINAL COMPONENT:-

For Ribs & Screw bosses Minimum draft angle given is 0.5°.

For Dog house draft angle given is 1.5°.

DRAFT ANAYLSIS OF DOG HOUSE:-

Since the dog house placed perpendicular to the normal tooling axis, it can be cleared only with the help of side core. For side core tooling axis to be created.Draft anaylsis for side core tooling aixs :-

DESIGN RULE CHECK FOR SCREW BOSE:-

Consider M6 screw is used to connect two bodies, for that 5.2mm hole is used.

1)Draft angle - 0.5° , satisfy the rule

2) Height to diameter ratio: (17.5-2.5) : 5.2 = 15:5.2 = less than 3 , so satisfy the rule (3:1 - ideal)

3) Optimum radius - 0.25mm

4) Wall thickness at base = 1 mm , 2.5 *0.4 = 1mm satisfy hte rule (Nominal wall thickness at base = 0.4 x t)

DESIGN RULE CHECK FOR DOG HOUSE:-

1) Doghouse wall thickness at the intersection of the part wall ( C ) should be 40% or less than the main wall stock ( T )

Here , 0.895 /2.5 = 0.358 , so it satisfy the rule

2) Height of ( B ) should be between 3.0 – 6.0 mm , Here height is 4.311mm , so its satissfy the rule.
