Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2

Ojective:

To create a Screw Bose and Dog House on the B surface of the Coin Holder.

Procedure:

1) Screw Bose Creation:

• Extract the base surface and draw a sketch for screw bose base. Make sure the sketch is Iso-constrained
• Create a Body and Pad the surface for certain height in 3:1 ratio.
• Apply draft of 0.5mm on the screw bose surface.
• Assemble to the Main Body of Coin Holder.
• Apply Edge fillets on the edges for 0.25mm.
• Translation of Screw Bose can be done with the help of Translate from Part work bench.

Creation Of Dog House:

• Extract the base surface and draw a sketch for Dog House. Make sure the sketch is Iso-constrained
• Create sweep with draft direction on the drawn sketch with 1.5 deg along Tooling Axis with height of 21mm.
• Use Untrim-Offset-Trim to cover the top surface.
• Extract the inner surfaces and offset with doghouse wall thickness 40% or less than main wall thickness and trim
• Apply thickness on the dog house for 2mm.
• Draft on the surfaces for inner and outer.
• Apply Edge fillets on the corners
