Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2

Below are the images of the dog house and screw boss attached to the coin holder. All the design rules have been followed according to the requirements and draft analysis has been preformed on the new components. Kindly find the CATpart attached.

Draft analysis for side core: The dog house will need a side core to be manufactured, hence the inside faces of the dog house will need to have a draft for the side core. Hence a draft is given and analysis has been performed.

Draft analysis for the screw boss: Since the screw boss is made in the direction of the main tooling axis it can be cleared just by the main tooling axis. However a draft will need to be provided on the screw boss and its support ribs to make it easy to eject form the mold. Hence draft has been given and analysis has been performed. A draft will also be needent on the outside face of the dog house.
