Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2
DOOR TRIM WITH DOGHOUSES:

TOOLING AXIS CREATION:
STEP 1. Surface is chosen based on its ability to create intersect which can pass through the steepest surfaces of the CLASS A. That surface is then EXTRACTED and centroid is taken which will be point through which tooling axis will pass.

STEP 2. INTERSECTS are taken in two directions other than the tooling axis one. Bisecting line is created in each direction by taking lines with smallest draft angle to tooling axis direction.

STEP 3. Two obtained BISECTING LINES are then further bisected which form the TOOLING AXIS.

SIDE CORE AXIS CREATION:
Line is taken orginating from tooling axis point in x-direction (since the opening of doghouse lies in that direction)

DRAFT ANALYSIS:
GREEN COLOR: Component will eject without any deformation to its surfaces when ejected in its axis direction.
RED COLOR: Component will eject with some deformtion or surface-finish issues when ejected in its axis direction.
