Dog House Draft Analysis

Axis Change

Final Draft Analysis

Tooling Axis Creation

In this part the Tooling Axiss creation was more prompt than all the other surface so designed.

Firstly, we create a point on the base surface by using the point-surface command.

We take an axis system on on that point.

We intersect the Class A surface with the YZ plane.

On intersecting we get one line as straight and the other as slant, so to avoid any confusion and on pure assumption we draw a perpendicular line passing through the point created on the surface.

This line so created is our tooling Axis.

In this surface did not use the bisecting method for tooling axis creation, as we have taken the line in just one axis which was suitable for our draft analysis.

The second Tooling Axis is created perpendicular to the first one for the draft analysis of the Dog house.

A reference line with the point on the first tooling axis and in the Z direction is created.

It is taken as our second tooling axis.

Draft Analysis.

After the creation of the Tooling Axis, the Class A surface is unhid.

We select draft analysis and place the compass on the tooling axis.

Since the compass is placed in the opposite direction, we select the reverse direction in the draft analysis.

The position is locked.

We select the surface for draft analysis and our analysis comes out to be successful.

After the Class B surface is created, we join the Class A and Class B surface to get our finals class C surface.

From part design we close the surface to get our required solid surface.

This part we run through draft analysis.

We place the compass on the tooling axis and reveres the draft direction.

The position gets locked.

The analysis is performed and it comes out to be successful.

We perform draft analysis again on the Dog House on two different axes to see that we get that the desired result as per our inpur data.
