Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2

Objective:-We will create the Screw bose and Dog house for the Centre console coin holder considering design rule.

Steps:

1. Design of Screw bose and Dog house

Design rules for Screw bose

• Draft-0.5 degree
• Thickness -We are designing screw boss for M6 screw. Hole size for M6 screw is 5.2 mm. Thickness is calculated as W=0.6 times the thickness of the component=0.6*2.5=1.5 mm.

Design rules for Dog house

• Draft-0.5 degree
• Dog house wall thickness, C=40% of main wall thickness=0.4*2.5=1 mm
• Height, B=4 mm
