RIB DESIGN AND MEASUREMENTS

The rib was designed based on the design factor in which rib fillet is place with 0.25 mm, Rib thickness at the tip is 9.7 mm and thickness of the rib is 1mm, draft angle are 0.5° and the distance between the two Rib is 5 mm

The rib root thickness were carried out and measurement is found to be 1.343 mm

The draft analysis of the component are shown in the figure, from the figure it is understood that the two rib are showing red color texture and this is mainly due to the draft angle which were fixed to 0.5° based on the design standards. On other hand, there are two color displaced in which green color shows the surface projection of 3° with respect to tool axis and blue color indicate an undercut surface.
