OBJECTIVE
check for the geometrical errors
mesh the Surfaces with the given 2D element Quality criterias
Use tetra elements to mesh the Volumes defined in the model and check tet collapse quality after Volume meshing.
BODY OF CONTENT
- Importing the component

- refine perimeter and macro to targetted length(1mm)
-
Geometry Checks:
- The geometry checks are used to check the geometry setup file using checkbox by selecting the geometry option
- And it shows that various errors in the geometry on the surface and has to be auto fixed and manually fixed if needed.
- perform topo opertations to stitch parts

solid meshing done when
- thickness>6mm
- thickness cannot be measured
- thickness is hollow
ortho tria computitional time is high as there is more elements and good result
so for flat surace we use tria meshing
curves surface we use ortho for proper definition
- input quality criterias

mesh surface in classic mesh mode
ortho tria for curved surface
tria meshing for flat surface
input tet collapse criteria for volume meshing

meshed model sample

Define volume of various components and do tetra meshing(TERTA FEM OR RAPID)

check for tet collapse and make it nill if present

final model
