Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Coin Holder Design

OBJECTIVE

To create coin holder part from the given class A surface & to perform draft analysis to ensure the feasibility of the manufacturing.

PROCESS

At first we need to see the class a creation process (look for any defect in creation), then we can create TOOLING AXIS at the suitable place by bisecting method(fig-1).

Then perform the Draft analysis on the tooling axis.(fig-2)

Then we need to make Class B(fig-3) surface from the given Class A surface.In order to make that we need to separate the class A surfaces into small & simple surfaces so that it will be easy for us to create all the surface as class A.

After creation of Class B surface we need to apply the required fillet on the required places then we proceed for CLASS C
