Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Coin Holder Design

Report:
In case the class A surface has a bin , always consider the bin to be the base for creating the tooling axis. create point in the center of the base surface and create an axiS system passing through the point. Create an intersection sketch in the XZ plane in newly created axix system and check the draft in the adjacent sides.Make sure that there is a minimum draft of 3 degree with respect to the tooling axis.In case there is no draft / negative draft given, request the class A designer to change the surface to have draft.

In the given class A surface since the initial tooling axis created provides sufficient draft to the side walls, we considered it as the final tooling axis. Otherwise bisecting lines in YZ plane and XZ plane should be created. then bisecting lines of the thus created lines gives final tooling axis.

As the end faces of the class A surfaces are parallel to the tooling direction the class C surface will be perpendicular to the tooling direction.

Since we have two closed loop of boundaries in the CAS model, both class C surface created will be at 90 degree to the tooling axis.
