Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Coin Holder Design

AIM

To create CLASS B and CLASS C from CLASS A surface, creating Solid-Body, Tooling axis and performing Draft Analysis.

TOOLING AXIS

Tooling axis: The direction in which the mold or core and cavity opens is the tooling axis.

DIFFERENT VIEWS OF COIN HOLDER

DRAFT ANALYSIS

All areas are with a minimum draft angle of 3 degrees.

There is a lot of surface with zero degrees draft angle. These surfaces should be provided with some draft angle to reduce defects during manufacturing.

CONCLUSION

CLASS B and CLASS C successfully created from CLASS A surface.

Solid-body is successfully created using a Closed surface.

Draft analysis is successfully completed.
