Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Bumper

TOOLING AXIS CREATION:

Generally tooling axis is created using bisecting line method. But in the components where it has a bin, the tooling axis is considered a line normal to the base surface of the bin. The same is done with this component. A line normal to the base surface is created and considered a tooling axis.

CLASS B SURFACE:

The offset distance is kept at 3mm as the component thickness is 3mm

A few elements are not offset properly. So, extract the non-offsetted areas and join them with others.

CLASS C SURFACE CREATION:

To create the c surface first create the boundary line using the boundary command

after creating the boundary use the sweep command with reference surface (90 degrees)
