Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Bumper
Bumper: As per the given Class-A surface creating B and C surface with 3mm thickness is done with draft analysis of class A and final component.
Beginning with Tooling Axis for Class A is done creating bisecting line and the analysis is done for Class A surface and the requirement for draft angle is given and the whole component is in green color. and the below images are of tooling axis and draft analysis of A surface.

Secondly, Offsetting the whole Class A surface with 3mm thickness. It is natural when offset is done some gaps are found in the offset component. Then start to fill the gaps by extrapolating the surface and trimming them, and doing that with steps creating different geometric sets with suitable names. The offset is Class B. The below images show class B.

Third creating C surface by extracting the edges of the A surface and then sweep command is used to create C surface, For this component the method of with draft direction and with reference surface is used according to requirement. Then using the B surface trim the C surface and then join with A surface that is A+B+C it is final product.
Final product (A+B+C)

Then by using close surface option select the A+B+C surface and make is close.

Then analysis of final product is done, Here the top surface is in green and bottom surface is in blue. if green and blue displayed the tooling axis is correct and the final plastic component is correct.
