Week 8 - Challenge 3 - Coin Holder Design
COIN HOLDER:
TOOLING AXIS: By looking at the class A surface we can understand where the axis of the tool will be placed, taking intersection of the class A surface. creating a line on both the side of A surface and bisecting them. we get the line which is tooling axis.
Draft analysis of A surface:
As you can see in the image, analysis of the Class A Surface which is in green means the whole Class A Surface is more than 3 deg to the axis.

Class B surface:
class B surface is the offset of Class A surface according to given thickness 2.5mm. By extracting the Class A surface step by step we get B surface.

Class C surface:
C surface is the thickness between Class A and B surface. extracting the boundry of A surface and adjacent wall of A surface create a sweep at 90 deg inside direction. trimming the sweep with B surface, and join A surface with B and C means (A+B+C= Final product)
C surface:

Final Product (A+B+C)

Draft Analysis on Final product:
The green colored parts are more than 3 deg to axis. and blue colored parts are in negative.
