Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Bumper
1. Below image represent complete tree structure and publication of Class A, B and Tooling Axis.

2. Below image represnt all view of plastic part with draft analysis and colour coding

3. Draft Analysis of Class A Surface:
To make sure easy removal of the part from the die, sufficient draft should be provide on surface which is paraller to tooling axis because these surfaces are penedicular to the tolling direction.
At first feasibile tooling axis has been decided (highlighted with pink colour in below image), keeping the parameters in mind that part should be easily removale and havig cost efective tooling. After deciding the toolindg axis draft analysis has been done which can be seen at below attaced image. As we can see all surface are green which means it has 4 degree of draft, that mean this Class A surface is good to proceed further.

4. Draft Analysis of Plastic Component:
As per given Class A surface, class b and class c surface has been developed. With the help of Class A, B and C surface part has been design by using close body commad.
1. To insure the easy removal of the part draft analysis for the part has been carried out. As given in below image all surface on class A is green which mean its ok for plastic injection die moulding and througout the surface at least 3 degree draft maintained which is enough for easy removal of the part.

2. Bottom surface showing blue colour which means it has less than 0 degree draft but this surface will be clear from downward direction of lower half part of the die so if i switch the direction which is in next image, now you can seen now its green which means it is good to go further.

Conclusion: After analysing draft report, bumper is good to go for plastic injection moulding.
