SELECTION OF TOOLING DIRECTION:-

FOR THIS MODEL, IF WE CHOOSE X- AXIS AS A TOOLING DIRECTION, IT FORMS PARTING LINE ALONG THE SURFACE AND ALSO IT NEEDS SLIDERS. SO WE NEED LOOK FOR OTHER AXIS.

FOR THIS MODEL, IF WE CHOOSE Y- AXIS AS A TOOLING DIRECTION, IT FORMS PARTING LINE ALONG THE SURFACE AND ALSO IT NEEDS SLIDERS. SO WE NEED LOOK FOR OTHER AXIS.

FOR THIS MODEL, IF WE CHOOSE Z- AXIS AS A TOOLING DIRECTION, IT FORMS PARTING LINE ALONG B SURFACE ( FLASHS CAN ALSO BE EASILY REMOVED) AND IT ALSO NEED SLIDERS. SO WE CONSIDER Z - AXIS AS TOOLING DIRRECTION.

creating the tooling axis

Firstly in X-axis , draw an bisecting line beween two draft surface

Then in Y-axis, we have only one draft surface , so we draw line at an standard draft angle of 3°.

On bisecting both the lines we have the tooling axis.
