Week 8 - Challenge 3 - Coin Holder Design

Aim:- To Create the Coin Holder Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.

Tooling Axis:-

Here the tooling Axis is taken normal to the bottom base of the coin holder by extracting the bottom base upper face and taking a random point on it and then taking a line normal to the base.

Draft Analysis on Class A:-

Here the initial analysis shows that the 3 degree draft will be safe to eject the part smoothly.

Draft analysis on Final Part:-

After doing the final part analysis the draft angle of 3 degree is safe to be taken for ejection of part smoothly.
