Week 8 - Challenge 3 - Coin Holder Design

AIM

Create the Coin Holder Plastic component through the given Class- A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.

Take the Thickness of the component to be 2.5mm

CLASS A SURFACE

TOOLING AXIS

Now we create a tooling axis for the Class A. Extract the bottom surface and insert a point on the surface then use the intersection command in y/z plane then create two line's according to the intersection then create the bisection line as reference to the first two line and the point on the bottom surface for creating the tooling axis.

DRAFT ANALYSIS

Finally used draft analysis tool, analysis model get positive results from a draft successfully Class A,B & C is required angles from a draft angle analysis. Analysis the draft angle red is below 0 degree and green is 3 degree, blue is between 0 and 3 degrees.
