The Ultracapacitor simulink block is show below.

Opening the UC model we get,

It consists of two block as current and state of charge. Inside SOC block,two input is given as UC current and charge and the output is SOC ultracapacitor. The SOC formula is given below.

Inside current block, UC voltage, UC current, open circuit voltage and charge UC is assigned with formula.

UC_Voltage block:

Where,

R-lumped resistance

Vmax- maximum voltage of UC

n- efficiency of charge/discharge cycle

OCV block:

Parameter values are taken as,

R - 0.064

eff - 0.9

V_max - 300

EMS power - 20000

Intial SOC - 100

Ultracapacitor current output:

SOC output:

UC Voltage output:

The maximum voltage is given as Vmax=300V. So, Voltage reduces as more current is demand from UC at the end of state of charge.
