AIM:
To Create the Switch Bezel Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.
Take the Thickness of the component to be 2.5 mm
OBJECTIVE:
To create the Base Bracket Plastic from the given Class A.
To ensure the all the sketch and tools in the Geometry set.
Give the proper name of the Geomatry set.
Create the Class B ad Class C.
The objective of the project is to design the switch bezel and to do a draft analysis for it by creating the required tooling direction with the help of Bisecting method.
INTRODUCTION:
The control panel bezel is the frame part of the window switch that holds its switch covers and buttons into place. Moulding is the method used to manufacture the plastic trims of an automotive by most OEM’s, hence by considering the manufacturing consideration the switch bezel is designed.
With draft analysis, you can verify draft angles, examine angle changes within a face, as well as locate parting lines, injection, and ejection surfaces in parts.
Drafts are defined on molded parts to make them easier to remove from molds. There are two ways of determining the objects to draft: either by explicitly selecting the object or by selecting the neutral element, which makes the application detect the appropriate faces to use.
To create the Geomatry set with proper name and sub geomatry set also.
A positive draft means the angle of the face, with respect to the direction of pull, is more than the reference angle. Negative draft. Displays any faces with a negative draft, based on the reference draft angle you specified.

TOOLIN AXIS:
The direction in which the mold or core and cavity opens is the tooling axis. Connectivity of Class-A surface: Checking the connectivity of the surface, this can be done by creating boundaries or by simply using the join option such that any openings can be easily visualized.
Create the tooling axis are different method to the Switch Bezel first create the bisection method and create the Third surface of the Class A and the complete two step we get the two line.,Now we create the Tooling Axis by this two line of Bisection method.
Create the second line with help of third surface give agle different is 6 deg.
Create the tooling axis by the two line.
Draft analysis of Class A with differet parameters.
Draft analyies with 3 deg
Draft analyies with 1.2 deg.
After checking create the Class B and Class C.
Class b are achived by the Extract of Class A and Offset them with 2.5mm .
Class C are Extract the boundary and sweep it.
CREATE OF CLASS B:
Likewise create the all the required wall and base of bezel.Don't Extract the fillets.
we get like this aftre trim it and fillet it.
Aftre trim go to fillet.
CLASS B:
CREATE THE CLASS C:
Extract the boundry from the Class A .
Like wise ther boundry and sweep it 20 mm.
Correction of the Class C by the Extrapolate and Join command.
CLASS C FINAL:
Join the Class A and Class C.
After join trim with the class B.
CREATE THE SOLID PART:
After creating closed surface create the solid part from the closed surface.
Go to Part workbech click closed view and select the surface.

DRAFT ANALYSIS:
Draft analysis with 3 deg
Go with 0.458deg.
