DRAFT ANALYSIS FOR GIVEN CLASS A SURFACE:

DRAFT ANAYSIS FOR THE FINAL PART:

SCREENSHOTS OF THE SOLID MODEL:

FINAL REPORT:

Draft Analysis:

So, as explained in previous example. The draft analysis is done to check the exact drafts of the component. As we are aware of the fact that a component with vertical or 0 degree draft can be manufacturebale so we have to provide at least 3 degree draft to make proccess easy and possible. For that purpose draft analysis is very important to check wethere the component will be manufactured easily or not.

Tooling Axis:

It is the main axis along with which we are going to make our draft also with this axis the plastic component is going to be made. It is created with the help of the given class A surface given by the designer.

In this example we had to make 2 sketches just to make the tooling axis. In first, we worked in YZ plane and used two lines from the A surface to make a bisecting line. Off the the secong sketch. In that we worked on the XZ plane. we made a line and gave it a draft accordingly.

After that we used those two main line to create our main tooling axis with the help of bisecting method again.
