Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Draft Analysis on a Fan Cover

Tree Structure:-

A detailed report should be done explaining the draft analysis and the tooling axis creation.

Look for the tooling direction in all 3 axis and find out the best possible direction.

Tooling direction in x-axis

If you choose this axis, we need to have seperate side core to create hole, and also parting line mark along the surface which is not advisable. so we need to look for other tooling direction.

Tooling direction in Y-axis

If you choose this axis, we need to have seperate side core to create hole, and also parting line mark along the surface which is not advisable. so we need to look for other tooling direction.

Tooling direction in Z-axis

If you choose this axis, core and cavity is enough no other tooling is needed . so we can choose these axis as tooling direction.

For the given model draft angle given is more than 10° (as per standard draft angle is more than 3°). since it is more than 3°, no problem in ejection of part. so we can proceed further.
