Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design
REPORT :
AIM : To Create the Base Bracket Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.
DRAFT ANALYISIS : Check the boundary of the surface for any open points using the bondary comamnd . Then should find a place for axis tool to be placed in which if there is any opening points we can place it there .since we have 2 openings and the bigger one would be much better since from there all the points of surafce can be seen through Z axis from the other 2 axis X and Y respectively are not visible of the all the points on the surface .
CREATING THE TOOL AXIS : we will create a plane through Z-axis and a dummy axis tool through it in which it would be created in such a way that we would be able to create a intersection of plane and the surface A. After creating the intersection we will create 2 lines through the intersection at both the sides of dummy axis tool at same points on both sides .Now we will create a bisecting line using these 2 lines and the point created in the plane and the dummy axis tool .
