Week-7 Head Impact

The first file (main.k) created is the file with *Define_Transformation with Tranid and Rotate Parameters. 

Then we create *Include_Transform with the head form file specified along with the Tranid 1

Then we include the meshed_hood.k file with the include option in the main.k file

Create a Material & Part for the hood and assign it to the Part hood.

Then we create a node set of all nodes of headform and assign an initial velocity (40Kmph) to them

Then we constrain the hood all along the periphery

Then we create a contact (contact_automatic_surface_surface) between the skin & and hood as follows

 

Then we specify termination time of 10ms using the control_termination card

Then we specify the Ascii & Binary output files to be written at the rate 0.5 ms
