Week 7 Challenge - Assembly Workbench
- For 3D modeling of parts of Quick Return Mechanism and CV Joint, I have used Part Design.
- As always, checked for Geometrical Set, if not there then added and started by taking point at origin, after that Positioned sketch and selected respective plane.
- After completion of the sketch, checked sketch solving status.
- After that used required Sketch-base Features and Dress-up Features.
- Made sure that all the sketch should be geometrical set and 3D elements in part body.
- Repeated the similar procedure for all the parts in the assembly.
- Also, prepared 2D drawing using Drafting for all the parts in both the assemblies.
- For assemblies of Quick Return Mechanism and CV Joint, I have used Assembly Design.
- Inserted Reference part as parent and Publication its Planes and reference point then fixed it using Anchor.
- Inserted Product, then from existing components imported the parts one-by-one.
- Publication their Planes, reference points, and reference axis.
- Using Constraints Toolbar assembled both the assemblies.
