Week 7 Challenge - Assembly Workbench
OBJECTIVE: To assemble the QUICK RETURN MECHANISM AND CV JOINT as per given in the assignment.
QUICK RETURN MECHANISM
For making the QUICK RETURN MECHANISM Assembly, first we create the parts required for the mechanism which are as following,
- Part 1:

- Part 2:

- Part 3:

- Part 4:

- Part 5:

All these parts are used to assemble a Quick Return Mechanism.
STEPS USED FOR ASSEMBLING QUICK RETURN MECHANISM
- Firstly, open a new product file for assembling all parts.
- Then copy all the parts used for the assembly by using copy command or by using existing component command.
- After that add another new part for main reference and reorder it.
- In new part draw a centre point and named it as reference point and publish it.
- In all other parts draw the required axis and points for assembly and publish all that axis and points
- Now fix the main reference element part by using Fix component command.
- After that coincide the part 1 with the main reference element by using coincidence command.
- After that coincide all the parts one by one through their axis and reference points using coincidence command and the offset constraints command.
- The final assembly is shown as following

Drafting:
For drafting, first we open a new drawing work bench. In which first the sheet size is selected and after that the following steps are followed,
- Insert the isometric view of the assembly work bench by using isometric view command.
- After that select the proper position and proportion of the view.
- After that mark the all parts used in assembly using balloon command.
- Then switch the work view into sheet background and go on drawing command into insert and click on the frame and title block command.
- From there we get the title block and the frame in which the details of the sheets are filling.
- After all this go back to working view and save the file as pdf for getting a pdf file.

All the procedure is used for CV JOINTS also same as above. The pictures related to the CV JOINT are as following,
