Week 7 Challenge - Assembly Workbench

Procedure:

In order to create the quick return mechanism and CV joint we need to assemble their individual parts. The 2D drawing is used to create the part.once the part is created then can be assembled to form complete bodies.In catia assembly workbench first create the reference point.To ensure the proper positioning of parts, a reference point must be created for each individual component. To establish the reference point 'Fix component' command in the constraint toolbar is used.This aommand allows for the anchoring the reference point to specific location.Once the point is fix,the individual parts can be connected to the reference point using constraint toolbar.After connecting the points that the parts are assembled together in the correct position as required by the design.
