Week 6-Meshing of Hood Challenge

Objective:

To create midsurface of given geomentry and do meshing the all midsurfaces created.

Procedure:

1)Import the Geomentry file which is in .stp File format

2) 4 components obtained as below from geomentry

a)Outer panel

b)inner panel

c)Latch assembly part

d)Hinges assembly part

3)Midsurface is extracted from above four components and saved each as model files(.hm format)

4)Criteria File setting perameters are fillied up(Preferances>criteria file settings)

4)Do 2D mesh on above midsurfaces with given mesh quality parameters and saved each as model files(.hm format)

6)Correction were applied on failed elements and worst mesh elements through element cleanup menu

7)All model files are saved in .hm format
